Teaching Greenhouse

The Plant Biology greenhouses are available for use by classes of all kinds. We host and facilitate classes across multiple programs, including Plant Biology, Horticulture, Interdisciplinary Sciences, and even art courses.

We have two facilities available to visit: our teaching greenhouse and our conservatory.

The Teaching Greenhouse is available by reservation for MSU classes and is not open to the public. Space is allotted on a first-come first-serve with basis, with preference given to courses within the Plant Biology department, and can be booked during Fall and Spring semesters.

Conservatory

The Teaching Conservatory is open to the public and can facilitate classes and outreach activities.

The Teaching Conservatory is a living classroom that is great for students of all ages. Classes may use the space by appointment and we try to avoid overlap, so reserve your times early. Contact Lisa Murphy to inquire about availability.

Labs & Activities
